MORE ABOUT DR. A. LEARMONTH
Dr. Alexandra Learmonth grew up and continues to live in the Niagara Region. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario completing a double major in biology and physiology. She then continued on to complete her Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine at D’Youville University in Buffalo, NY.
“I was introduced to chiropractic medicine at the young age of 10. I competed as a gymnast at the provincial level and was constantly experiencing low back pain from the vigorous training. Chiropractic allowed me to continue participating in a sport I loved for over 12 years. I began to see chiropractic as a career path for me during my undergraduate degree when I began volunteering in a clinic to learn more about the profession. After one summer of volunteering I knew it was the path for me. I was drawn by the positive atmosphere and the effectiveness of conservative care for musculoskeletal disorders.”
